Nearest airports are:

- Granada (1¼ hours’ drive)
- Almeria (1¾ hours’ drive)
Low-cost carriers have flights from various UK airports to all 3 of these destinations (in particular check out Monarch, Easyjet, Mytravellite & Ryan Air); Malaga is the largest of the 3 Spanish airports listed and will offer the widest range of carriers and flight times. Granada and Almeria airports are small and never particularly busy, accessible and with easy parking, bus stops and taxi ranks right in front of the terminal buildings.
There are excellent bus and coach services linking Almuñécar with the airports listed above and with other major towns in Andalucia.
