There are lots of lovely beaches to chose from in this area from secluded covey beaches to huge sandy beaches.
Within 6 minutes walk of the apartment you will find spectacular Camilo beach, here there is a very nice fish restaurant and cafe serving fresh fish daily. There are many other covey beaches as you walk along the cliff tops, some of which are quite secluded. Lovely Dona Ana beach is also about 10 minutes walk away.
There is also Ponte de Piedade lighthouse at the end of the road where you will find a nice little cafe and shop. Here you can also take a boat trip through the spectacular Grottos.
Go down the road in the opposite direction of town and you will come to Porta de Mos beach where you can have a quiet meal in the daytime or at night overlooking the beach.
The apartment is about 20 minutes walk away from Lagos Old Town which has managed to retain its character and where you will find a huge choice of restaurants and bars and lovely shops which stay open late at night. Opposite the town there is Lagos Marina and just around the corner Meia Praia beach, a vast sandy beach which is ideal for walking and which has many beach cafes.
